The University of Hyderabad (UoH) decided not to impose online classes on the students and faculty in order to complete this end-semester. This decision comes in as a survey conducted on the proposal for online classes evoked mixed response from the university students.

A team led by Prof Vinod Pavarala and Prof Vasuki Belavadi at the university’s Department of Communication designed and administered an online survey among the university’s student population to elicit information about access to the internet and their views on online classes.
