Hyderabad, Sept.1 (Hydnow): The top Maoist leader Ganapati alias Muppala Laxman Rao is likely to surrender before police in the days to come.
According to highly placed sources, Ganapati is negotiating with state and central governments with the help of his close friends and family members. He has reportedly decided to surrender before the police by keeping in view of his old age. Ganapati is 74 year old now. He is also suffering from several serious health problems like knee pain and diabetes. He is the native of Beerpur village from Jagitiyala district. Ganapati had worked as the secretary of central committee of the banned organisation after the merger of MPC and Naxalites organisation.
He quit from the post in the year 2018 due to his ill health. The reports related to his possible surrender are going on in the entire Karimnagar district. It is also learnt four more maoist leaders are also likely to Surender to the police along with Ganapati. (Hydnow)
