Tension At Assembly: Attempt To Gherao, Protestors Arrested

Hyderabad, Aug 4 (Hydnow):  There was a tense situation outside the Assembly at the time when Telangana Monsoon sessions started on the second day and Question Hour was going on in the House.

Today morning, the leaders of various communities tried to gherao the Assembly which came in batches.  Congress fishermen leaders, activists, NSUI workers, and ANM workers came in batches and tried to gherao the Assembly to solve their problems.  But the huge police which was deployed for the security of the Assembly arrested those who came near the Assembly, due to this, there was a tense atmosphere in the area for a while. 

Earlier, the Congress leaders who attempted to the Gherao Assembly were arrested by the police.  congress fishermen leaders and activists reached the Assembly demanding immediate compensation for the flood victims, led by the fishermen Congress Chairman Mettu Sai Kumar, they began to gherao the Assembly. 

He demanded the government take up relief measures in the flood-affected areas of the state.  The congress leaders who rushed to the Assembly gate were stopped and arrested by the police at the Assembly gate. (Hydnow)
