Hyderabad, May 24 (Hydnow): Education Minister, Sabitha Indra Reddy today gave online financial assistance to 2.04 lakh private teachers and staff. At MCR HRD in the city here the minister offered online Rs 40.94 cr to benefit 2,04,743 teachers and staff.
She said that Rs 2000 financial assistance and 25 kg rice for May offered for the teachers and staff of private schools in the state. Besides direct transfer of Rs 40.94 Cr for the purpose, Sabitha Indra Reddy began the program to offer 25 kg fine rice to each teacher and staff of these private schools.
As per a decision taken by Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao the private schools teachers and staff would get this benefit she said. The education and other departments coordinated to help them and continue to get this benefit until the schools get reopened she said.

Since Corona lead to closure of the schools the staff face salaries and livelihood problem. While 1.24 persons got 25 kg rice for last month , Rs 2000 offered to 1.12 lakh persons for May. The rest to be offered she added. (Hydnow)
