Hyderabad, Dec 18 (Hydnow): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will go to Delhi on December 19 to meet the top leaders of the party and it is likely to discuss the expansion of the Cabinet and filling of nominated posts.

Keeping in view that the Lok Sabha elections are going to be held soon, it is expected that the party will be energized through the distribution of posts.  It seems that a list of Lok Sabha candidates has already been prepared.  It is reported that the priority will be given to Greater Hyderabad in the expansion of the ministry.  None of the congress candidates won the elections from the constituencies of Hyderabad city.  However, Foroze Khan, who was defeated in Nampally is contesting on a minority quota. It is reported that Shabbir Ali, who sits in the Nizamabad Urban seat, gets the ministerial position. Foroze Khan will have no chance.  Mainampally Hanumantha Rao, who lost from Malkajgiri is hoping for a ministerial post.  But there is a campaign going on in the party there is an idea to field him from the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat.

Anjan Kumar Yadav (Musheerabad) and Madhuyaski (LB Nagar) also lost the election but their names are also under scrutiny.  Their followers say that Shabbir Ali and Anjankumar will be given a chance to become Ministers and will be selected as MLCs/  There is a contest for the post of minister between the brothers Gaddam Vinod and Vivek from Adilabad.  Both seem to have met top leaders in Delhi.  Vivek is confident that he will be given a chance.  Bodan MLA Sudarshan Reddy and Yellareddy MLA Madan Mohan Rao are also trying.  Ibrahimpatnam MLA Malreddy Rangareddy’s name is under scrutiny from the joint Rangareddy district.

At the same time, the debate is going on whether the key home department will be handed over to someone else or kept with the CM.  On the other hand, there is also a campaign that the party is planning not to give any office for a year to the candidates who lost in the recent elections.  The party leaders say that if the same is implemented, there is no chance for the losers to get ministerial posts.
