Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police has gone all out to help three pregnant women during the lockdown so far.

In the first incident, a pregnant lady from Petbasheerabad was rescued by Petbasheerabad patrolling officers when she sought help by dialing 100.

When the family members called ‘108’ ambulance services, they were told the ambulance would take time and since the woman was in deep labour pain, the family members dialled 100. She delivered a boy.

In the second instance, the family members of a pregnant woman from Medchal called the Cyberabad COVID Control Room. She was shifted to the hospital where she delivered a baby girl.

In the third incident, a woman who had just delivered was shifted by the patrolling police from Kondapur district hospital to her house in Ramachandrapuram.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar urged people to make use of these services during emergencies. Emergency calls received at the Cyberabad Covid Control Room were being attended to on a priority basis, he said
