Hyderabad: TPCC Working President Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had neglected the development of Dubbak in the past six years. He also threw a challenge that Congress will not campaign in villages that have two bedroom houses and asked TRS not to enter villages that have Indiramma houses.

Addressing a press conference here, he said that TRS was afraid of Congress because it had neglected Dubbak even as it developed Siddipet. “I want to know how many times the Chief Minister has visited Dubbak,” he said, adding that TRS was admitting Congress leaders into the party only because it was afraid of losing the seat.

Sangareddy MLA Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy said Congress has great respect for women and has a history of accomodating them in prominent positions in the Cabinet. “Finance Minister T Harish Rao says that TRS respects women citing the ticket given to Solipeta Sujatha, but he needs to explain to the people how many women MLAs has the TRS government give cabinet berths,” he said, adding that Congress gave the ticket to Cheruku Srinivas Reddy, son of Muthyam Reddy, as TRS had given the ticket to Sujatha.
