Hyderabad, Aug 3 (Hydnow): The police job aspirants have filed a petition in the High Court that the Police Recruitment Board has released the G.O numbers 57 and 58 after the prelims exams.

The court received this petition for hearing and ordered the board not to release any results regarding the recruitment till August 17, it has issued a notice to the government to file a counter with complete details.

According to the details given by the lawyers on behalf of the candidates, when the board released the notification regarding the recruitment of police jobs, the board did not mention GO Numbers 57 and 58 anywhere.

After the completion of the prelims exams, it was announced that the marks will be reduced according to the reservations. According to this, the Board has decided the cutoff marks according to reservation for SC, ST, and BC.

The petitioners told the court that the Board’s notification did not disclose that there are cutoff marks for reservations. In addition to this, the Board completely ignored the reservations under EWS.

The petitioners told the Court that all the candidates who wrote the prelims are likely to suffer a serious loss. So far 52 petitions have been filed against the decisions of the Police Recruitment Board. The court adjourned the hearing to August 17. (Hydnow)
