Hyderabad, June 10 (Hydnow): Tollywood Star Nandamuri Balakrishna celebrated his 60th Birthday Celebrations and were held with much fanfare amidst children fighting with cancer and staff members of BIACH&RI today in its premises.
Balakrishna participated in a Cake Cutting Ceremony arranged by hospital staff and cut the cake amidst the children fighting with cancer. After cutting the cake, while sharing the cake with them Sri Balakrishna handed over a gift hamper to participating children. Later he distributed provisions to the house keeping staff, security, maintainance staff working in the hospital keeping in view of hardships faced during COVID. He also distributed fruits to patients undergoing treatment in Arogyasri wards.
Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna has expressed gratitude towards fans who always shown huge love, affection and also performing various social activities across the globe. While thanking them for such a long association, Balakrishna urged them to follow strict social distancing norms in order to prevent COVID pandemic. He asked them to wear masks with out fail thus enabling them to safegaurd from getting infected.

Balakrishna also warned people to take precautions to prevent seasonal diseases that normally crops up during mansoon period. He suggested that the health of public is in their hands only, if they are cautious then their health will get protected. He urged them to follow all safety measures in winning COVID pandemic. Balakrishna has appreciated the services provided by Doctors and Staff Members of BIACH&RI even during COVID pandemic. While acknowledging the commitment shown by them, Sri Balakrishna assures all possible help in further developing the hospital thus enabling them serve more number of people.
Later in the event a couple Rohan and Meghana Rao has donated Rs. 10 lac to the hospital by acknowledging the good work done by the hospital. Meghana Rao, who is also a painter has gifted a painting done by her to Balarkrishna on this occasion. Meghana Rao from Secunderabad area was treated for cancer in BIACH&RI recently.
Further on the occasion, Sitarama Raju, a businessmen from Hyderabad has donated Rs. 1 Lac to the hospital. Sitarama Raju was a regular contributor of funds to hospital, who donates good sums of amounts every year towards treatment cost of poor patients. Both the donors handed over the cheques to Balakrishna on his birthday.
