Hyderabad, Nov.12 (Hydnow): Mumbai high Court today declined to grant bail to jailed human rights activist and writer Varavara Rao. It dismissed the petition filed by his family members by citing chronic illness of the 80 year old writer.
However it asked the authorities of Nanavati hospital to find out the status of the health condition of Rao. It later adjourned the case till November 17 of this month.
The wife of Rao Hemalatha approached the Mumbai high court by citing that the health condition of her husband was fast deteriorating. She alleged that the authorities of the state government was neglecting the health condition of her husband. (Hydnow)
