Meanwhile, Mallikarjun  Karge discussed ways to put pressure on the Center at the India Alliance meeting held at his Chamber.  Opposition leaders feel that many key issues including Manipur violence are likely to be discussed through the no-confidence motion.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has to make a comprehensive statement in the Parliament on the violence in Manipur which has not abated for 83 days.  Stories of horrific violence are slowly spreading to other areas as well. India is demanding an answer from the Modi government on Manipur violence.

Conditions have become very sensitive in North East India.  Manipur’s violence seems to be spilling over to other states as well.  This does not bode well for the Sunni states that share borders.  Mallikarjun Kharge tweeted that Prime Minister Modi should put aside his ego and make the country believe in Manipur.  (Maxim News)
