Personnel of Hyderabad City Police had a special word of appreciation coming in for them on Monday, even as they continued the fight against the coronavirus. Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda, who reached City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar’s office spent time interacting with the force through a video conference, during which he not only appreciated their services, but also asked them to ensure their own safety as well.
Deverakonda, who took time with Anjani Kumar to interact with constables from almost every police station in the city, pointed out that the police personnel were the ‘frontline fighters’ in the battle against Covid-19, and that they should be careful that they were not exposed to the virus.
He also asked them to ensure protection of their families from the virus. The Arjun Reddy star, who said he knew their duty was tough and that they were all working hard, was invited for the video conference as part of the Commissioner’s efforts to boost the morale of the force.
