The State Formation Day is being celebrated by people across the city by hoisting the national flag and distributing sweets in a few areas.
Mayor Bonthu Rammohan hoisted the tricolour at the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation head office. GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar and Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin and others participated in the celebrations.
HMDA Commissioner and MAUD Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar unfurled the national flag at the HMDA head office in Tarnaka.
In view of the corona pandemic, the State Government had instructed that the celebrations be a low key affair.
Meanwhile, the demand of Sircilla sellas is increasing in the city with many TRS party activists and others sporting them.
