Hyderabad, July 15 (Hydnow): As Corona cases are rising in GHMC area and districts, Telangana Government is planning to offer free Covid-19 tests in a few private medical colleges.
According to information the government has selected three such institutions in addition to the government hospitals offering free tests and treatment. The government is understood to have offered permissions to Malla Reddy Medical College, Mamatha Medical College and Kamineni Medical College for the purpose.
The government reportedly decided to permit the private medical colleges to conduct free corona tests and offer treatment to people. Since the positive cases are increasing everyday, followed by opposition criticism the government is compelled to conduct tests in private medical colleges. The government may give similar nod to other private medical colleges if the three colleges conduct better tests and offer treatment.

The government has already given permission to some private labs to conduct these tests. The state has 37745 positive cases and 375 deaths. (Hydnow)
