Hyderabad: Telangana on Tuesday reported 1,175 new Covid-19 infections and 10 fatalities taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,586 and the total number of positive cases to 6,15,574. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Tuesday, stood at 16,640.
Between Monday and Tuesday, authorities conducted 1,24,907 Covid tests of which results of 820 samples were awaited. On Tuesday, 1,771 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.71 per cent. So far, a total of 1,77,70,083 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,15,574 have tested positive and 5,95,348 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included five cases from Adilabad, 70 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 133 from areas under GHMC, 32 from Jagtial, 12 from Jangaon, 24 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, five from Jogulamba Gadwal, four from Kamareddy, 74 from Karimnagar, 76 from Khammam, three from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 26 from Mahabubnagar, 51 from Mahabubabad, 41 from Mancherial, nine from Medak, 68 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 28 from Mulugu, 13 from Nagarkurnool, 70 from Nalgonda, seven from Narayanpet, four from Nirmal, seven from Nizamabad, 64 from Peddapalli, 25 from Rajanna Siricilla, 74 from Rangareddy, 17 from Sangareddy, 27 from Siddipet, 74 from Suryapet, 18 from Vikarabad, 16 from Wanaparthy, 23 from Warangal Rural, 41 from Warangal Urban and 34 from Yadadri Bhongir.
