Hyderabad: The trend of a surge in coronavirus positive cases has continued in Telangana with authorities reporting 117 Covid-19 infections and four fatalities on Thursday. On Wednesday, authorities had reported 107 positive cases.
Out of the 117 positive cases, 66 persons were from Telangana while the remaining 51 positive cases comprised 49 deportees from Saudi Arabia and two migrants who returned to the State.

With Thursday’s surge, the total number of coronavirus positive cases in the State has reached 2,256 while the total number of fatalities is now 67. The number of active Covid-19 cases is 844 while the total number of discharges is 1,345.
