Hyderabad, Aug.13 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will unfurl National Flag at historic Golconda Fort in the city on August 15 at 10.30 am. Amid corona protocols the Independence Day would be conducted in the state and the chief minister would attend the program at Golconda Fort. Ministers, whips and those other leaders notified in the list of the government will attend the same in all the districts.

Arrangements have been made for the 75th national Independence Day celebrations at the Golconda FortChief Secretary Somesh Kumar has visited the fort site and inspected the arrangements being made for the mega event. Along with the officials concerned team including CP Anjani Kumar and others, the chief secretary has monitored the place. He made some instructions to the officials for smooth conduct of the Independence Day Celebrations. All the arrangements are in place for the event to be held on a grand scale amid corona protocols he said.

The Chief Secretary instructed the officials to all facilities to the dignitaries coming to attend the program. He also directed the police top brass to provide complete security and bandobust for the Independence Day celebrations. Provide parking, barricading and regulate traffic coming to the fort and ensure free movement of the people he said. Last year the chief minister unfurled the tricolour at his Pragathi Bhavan instead of the Golconda Fort due to Corona pandemic. This time the cases and deaths of corona dipped significantly and the lockdown was completely lifted in the state. The chief minister gave his nod to conduct the event at the historic site.
