Hyderabad, Oct.2 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has reportedly finalized the name of new party as Bharatha Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and has fixed a muhurtam at 1.19 PM on October 5, on the auspicious day of Dasara festival to make an announcement it.
The TRS president held a meeting with party presidents of all 33 districts, Ministers, and other party senior leaders at Pragathi Bhavan here on Sunday and discussed the proposed party.
According to party sources, KCR reportedly has explained the necessity of floating a national party and its vision for the country.
As part of his action plan, it is learned that the TRS president has decided to organize a mass meeting in New Delhi on December 9.
According to party sources, the TRS president is in favor of changing the name of the existing party to Bharatha Rashtra Samithi rather than announcing the new outfit. The
TRS leaders said that If the name of the existing party is changed, the party symbol and flag need not be changed and would be remained the same so that people should not get confused and it will be easy for people to identify the party.
TRS MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said that many small party leaders from other States are willing to merge with the new party headed by KCR and are ready to contest in their respective States in the name of the proposed party. (Hydnow)
