Hyderabad, Aug.30 (Hydnow): Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today instructed the education officials to restart classes from Sept 1 by following Corona protocols.

At a video conference review with the officials concerned here the Minister said that the government has decided to restart the classes from September 1 with dip in Corona cases and fatalities. As per wishes of the parents the classes have to be conducted with Corona norms, she said. When there is a problem of health and safety the officials concerned should the students to nearby health centers or hospitals, the Minister said.

She said that the district level education officials monitor the classes, situation and ensure smooth conduct of regular classes. The Minister directed to upkeep the schools, sanitise the premises and see that the students wear masks in the schools and colleges. As per the government instructions the officials concerned were asked to conduct the classes in all school and colleges by following fees norms.

Sabitha Indra Reddy asked that those schools and colleges trying to press for more fees and violation of norms would be dealt with seriously.

The Education officials at district and town level should check fees collection at the institutions. If they violate norms strict action will be initiated, she warned. She said since corona cases dipped, the government decided to restart the schools and the colleges from September 1.

The parents have to believe that all corona measures are followed at the schools and colleges.

She asked the parents to avoid fear the parents should send the children to the schools and colleges, she reiterated. As the online classes are not giving better results there is a need for regular classes she said. (Hydnow)
