Hyderabad, July 3 (Hydnow) While the entire Opposition parties are split over the Centre’s proposal to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), the ruling BRS of Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has preferred to remain “neutral” and keep its cards close to its chest till the Bill comes up for voting in Parliament.

The BRS-friendly party, AAP has already extended support to Uniform Civil Code, other parties are vociferous in their opposition with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of fanning communal sentiments to win the Lok Sabha polls.

According to the sources from the BRS, it is said that KCR will take a decision when a legislation UCC is tabled in Parliament, the party is in no hurry to reveal its stand on a politically sensitive issue in an election year.
