Amaravati, June 17 (Hydnow): Andhra Pradesh state assembly was adjourned sine die today. The house which met for the day approved the appropriation bill amid the cheers of the treasure benches. The house has passed a resolution opposing the implementation of National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the state. It made it clear that it would not implement the controversial Acts like NRC and NPR in the state.
The deputy chief minister of the state Amzad Basha introduced the resolution in the house. Meanwhile, the house has also observed two minute silence to pay rich tributes to the martyrs of Ladakh fight. The chief minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy led the house in paying the tributes to the martyrs. Later, the speaker of the house Tammineni Seetharam announced the adjournment of the house Sine die. (Hydnow)
