Amaravati, Sept.20 (Hydnow): The ruling YSRCP from Andhra Pradesh state today extended its support to the agriculture bills introduced by the central government in the Rajya Sabha. The party MP Vijaya Sai Reddy , while extending support to the bill, has said that it would give freedom to the farmers of the state while putting an end to the middlemen system in the country.
Taking part in the discussion held on the issue, he said that the farmers would also benefit from the advance fixing of the prices of their produce and added that the farmers would also get freedom from the excesses of the middlemen besides putting an end to the dominance of the market committees. He made it clear that his party would stand by the interests of the farmers of the state. He said that their party led state government was giving Rs.13,500 to 49 lakh farmers of the state under Rythu Bharosa scheme. He said that the state government has also announced minimum support prices to different crops cultivated in the state. (Hydnow)
