Sharmila | Hyderabad, April 15 (Hydnow): YSRTP President, Y.S Sharmila reacting to the video of a patient being dragged by his legs in Nizamabad government hospital due to a lack of stretchers and wheelchairs. This is proof of the plight of the medical sector in Telangana state, she said, she tweeted this on April 15.
Referring to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, asked if this is a healthy Telangana. Sharmila protested that dragging patients on the floor is corporate medicine. She expressed her anger that the poor regime continues where even a wheelchair cannot be provided to a patient with a budget of Rs. 11 thousand crores every year. This is not the healthy Telangana your talking about.
In the Nizamabad government hospital, the young man who came for treatment, as there were no facilities to take him to the hospital, the parents dragged the patient by his legs. Sharmila said that this video reflects the facilities in government hospitals in Telangana. (Hydnow)
