A youth from Khammam, Sanne Ulwal Sriharsha, aged around 24 years, studying in London reportedly went missing.
He is the son of Khammam district BJP president Sanne Uday Pratap and went to London to pursue MS there after completing B Tech two years back.
It is said that the authorities from the college where Sriharsha is studying called his parents here on Friday night and informed about missing of their son.
The London police are said to have registered a missing case and searching for the youth and have found a mobile phone that belonged to Sriharsha. On learning the news the Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy called Uday Pratap over phone and consoled him.
The Minister also contacted Union External Affairs officials and asked them to take necessary steps to trace out the missing youth, sources said. Khammam MP Nama Nageswar Rao also extended moral support to the BJP leader Pratap saying he will do his part in tracing out Sriharsha.
