YFLO Holds First Session on Young Change Makers

Hyderabad, July 6 (Hydnow): Hyderabad Chapter of Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) held its first session for 2022 on Young Change Makers in the city on Wednesday evening at Hotel Kohenur, Madhapur.

Navya Naveli Nanda, an entrepreneur and women’s rights advocate and granddaughter of superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan and Manasi Chaudhari, interacted with Malliha Fatima, a lifestyle journalist, and panellist in discussions organised by CII and FICCI. Malliha facilitated the conversation.

The session with theme ‘Young Change Makers‘, was organised keeping in line with the YFLO Chairperson’s year theme Potential is Power. The interactive session shed light on the potential of the young entrepreneurs and how they were empowering young women with their vision.

Interacting with the panelist and answering to one of her questions on legal status on compensation in separation for women sacrifice in marriage, Manasi said Courts are recognising women’s sacrifices and labour they put in marriage to make home and compensating accordingly.

On speaking about why not many women choose legal root to find a solution for conflict resolution during the separation, in case of tape, Mansi said victim shaming is very sad. It is also because of lack of legal effectiveness. Irrespective of the problems one faces, they must stand for their rights. Faster justice will help people come forward to take legal root for conflict resolution. (Hydnow)
