Hyderabad, Nov.22 (Hydnow): Union Minister of State for Home affairs G. Kishan Reddy today said that the BJP would work with all sections of society if it came to power in the upcoming local body elections. He made it clear that the party had an inevitable bond with Hyderabad city. He claimed that the party ‘s election campaign was receiving great response from the people of the corporation.
Speaking to media persons in the city, Kishan Reddy lashed out at ruling TRS party and its leaders. He alleged that the ruling party had failed to fulfill its poll promises made during the 2016 GHMC elections. He said that the poll promise of the TRS party to build double bed room houses to all the homeless poor families of the state capital was not fulfilled even after five years of ruling the GHMC. He claimed that the ruling party had not given a single house in any of the assembly constituency of the corporation. He said that the ruling party leaders who had promise to make the city into an Istanbul city, managed to transform it into a flood hit city.
He said that the promises of the chief minister of the state KCR to beautify Musi river and Hussain Sagar lake had not been fulfilled so far while noting that the Musi river continues to be encroached upon by land sharks. .
Rebutting the claims of Hyderabad Metro Rail, Kishan Reddy made it clear that the project was not the achievement of the TRS party. He alleged that the ruling party leaders had occupied all the hoardings in the city and were carrying out the campaign for their party and added that the ruling party leaders were not allowing other political parties to carry out their publicity campaign.
Referring to CM KCR’s family and AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi’s family , He made it clear that the Telangana state was not formed only to be ruled by two families of the state. He claimed that they were receiving complaints from different people about the encroachments of their properties by the ruling party leaders. He asked the CM as to what happened to his twin towers promise. He said that they would provide a corruption free rule if the people of the corporation gave them the mayor’s post and added that they would also focus on the development of the GHMC. (Hydnow)
