Amaravati, June 20 (Hydnow): Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his government would support the weavers of the state. He made these remarks after launching the second phase of YSR Netanna Hadthan scheme through online at his camp office.
Speaking on the occasion he said that he said that they were extending the financial assistance to the weavers six months ahead of its scheduled launch by keeping in view of the problems faced by the weavers of the state. He said that he had asked the officials to provide e-marketing facility to all the weavers to alleviate their problems . Citing that the e-platform facility will come into place from October 2 of this year, he urged the weavers to ensure quality transportation and cash .
The state Industries minister M. Gautam reddy was also present in the event. The state government is giving Rs. 24,000 as financial assistance to weavers with handloom machines. (Hydnow)
