Hyderabad, July 20 (Hydnow): Alleging that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was ruling the State like a despot, senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao today condemned the arrest of AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi by the UP police. He said such acts were shameful.
Speaking to mediapersons, Hanumanth Rao said it was the basic right of the Congress party to visit and console the family members of ten tribals, who were brutally killed. Priyanka Gandhi inspired several lakh party workers by her humanitarian act and party cadre too would follow her footsteps.
He also said the Congress would return to power and get back its lost glory. He also predicted that Priyanka Gandhi would certainly shine in politics like her charismatic grandmother late Indira Gandhi. He also observed that the Telangana State was also witnessing a dictator’s rule like in UP. (Hydnow)
