Hyderabad, July 5 (Hydnow) The Indian Meteorological Department of Hyderabad (IMD-H) has warned that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of the state for the next three days.
The IMD-Hyderabad said that the winds are blowing from the east direction of the lower level over Telangana. It has indicated that there are chances of rain in 12 districts of the state on Wednesday, July 5 and 6, 9 districts are likely to receive rain.
An orange alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rains at scattered places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Surya pet, Mahabubabad, Sangareddy, and Medak districts.
A yellow alert has been issued in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Manchiryal, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtyal, Rajanna Sirisilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Siddipet, Rangareddy and Nagarkurnool districts for heavy rains.
Officials of the Meteorological Department said that on Friday 7 July, there will be rains with thunder and lightning in many places. (Hydnow)
