Hyderabad, sept.25 (Hydnow): Parul Srivastava, Ph.D. Scholar at the Department of History, University of Hyderabad, and also a Fulbright Scholar to the USA for 2020-2021 was recently invited for an online presentation by the DAAD-Freundeskreis, Germany (DAAD Alumni & Friends) in its regional chapter of Heidelberg.
The topic of Parul’s presentation was “India’s Partition in 1947 and its Human Dimensions”, which was attended by participants from almost all inhabited continents of the world. The talk was open to DAAD-scholarship holders and alumni, all over the world. This was followed by an hour-long question-answer session.

Parul Srivastava has also been invited by the Berkeley based 1947 Partition Archive to be a panellist on their online episode of Sunday Stories titled ‘Silent Soldiers of History’. Parul discussed her experiences of recording the oral histories of India’s Partition, with fellow panellists from USA and Pakistan.
