Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 4 (Hydnow): the Union Cabinet has approved the establishment of a tribal university in Mulugu district.
Prime Minister Modi recently announced that a tribal university will be established in Mulugu district as part of his visit to Mahbubnagar. Recently, the center took a decision by approving this in the Cabinet meeting held today. Prime Minister Modi has announced that he is allocating Rs. 900 crores for this university which will be established in Mulugu in the name of tribal deities Sammakka and Saralamma.
The then UPA government promised to establish central tribal universities in AP and Telangana at the same time when the bifurcation of the AP process was on. (Hydnow)
