Hyderabad: Two more persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, taking the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State to 47.
Health Minister, Etela Rajender on Friday at a meeting with managements of private medical colleges, said that so far persons who returned from countries affected by the coronavirus and their close family members have tested positive in Telangana.
“We are still in the process of ascertaining how a doctor was infected. According to the doctor’s travel history, he visited Tirupati. Our surveillance teams are working hard to identify the source of infection. I want to assure public that the government is doing its best to contain the spread of the Covid-19 at the earliest. I urge people to observe complete lockdown,” he said.
