Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (West) team caught two persons who were allegedly selling Remdesivir injection in black market on Saturday night. The police seized six vials from them.
Acting on a tip off, the police caught Shankar Narayana Subramanyam (42) and Mettu Srikanth (33) who had sourced the Remdesivir injection from some persons illegally.
“Both of them were looking for customers to sell the vials for Rs. 10,000 each while they had purchased it for Rs. 3,400,” said P Radha Kishan Rao, DCP Task Force.
The two persons along with the property were handed over to Osmania University police for further action.
