Prabhakar Rao | Hyderabad, April 14 (Hydnow): TSGENCO and TSTRANSCO Chairman D.Prabhakar Rao have praised Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao for making Telangana to become the first state to provide 24 hours free power supply to agriculture sector having huge base of around 27.5 lakhs agricultural connections from January 1, 2018 onwards.
Speaking on the occasion of Dr. B.R Ambedkar’s birth anniversary and paying floral tributes, today, the CMD claims that the State grid has met the highest peak demand of 15,497 MW on March 30 and recorded the highest consumption of 297.89 MU on March 14 which are all-time records in the history of Telangana. Further T& D system is fully geared up to meet loads up to 17000 MW.
In due recognition of the effective handling of increasing renewable energy and integrating with the state grid in a most sustainable manner. TSTRANSCO has been selected for the establishment of the Renewable Energy Management Center with a 100 percent grant of Rs. 17.6 crores.
