Hyderabad, October 2: TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar suffered minor injuries when an auto hit the car in which he was traveling. Four passengers of the auto were also injured in the mishap that took place in Peddapalli district on Saturday night.
According to officials, MD Sajjanar was on his way to Maharashtra. An auto that was going towards Ramagundam hit the MD’s car at the Dharmaram crossroads.
Auto passengers Nagaraju and Lakshmi of Malyalapalli of Ramagundam Mandal were severely injured while Nune Bhumaiah and Lakshmi of Rayabandi of Antargao Mandal received minor injuries. They were shifted to Peddapalli government hospital and after primary treatment, they were shifted to Karimnagar.
MD Sajjanar resumed his journey after first-aid was done. The accident took place as the driver was allegedly in an inebriated condition.
