Hyderabad, Sept.17 (Hydnow): As promised in state Assembly on the last day of its Monsoon session by municipal minister K T Rama Rao, the state government today issued fresh orders giving a reprieve for LRS scheme 2015.

The panchayat raj department has issued orders amending previous GOs131 and 151 in this regard. The government took a decision to relax the stringent norms of fees followed by fervent appeal by people.

Also the political parties have mounted pressure on the government to desist from levying hefty fees to regularise illegal plots, houses, layouts as per stipulated norms. The Municipal minister assured in the Assembly session that the fresh orders for regularising the illegal layouts will be issued next day in Sept 17.

Thus the orders issued a fresh ensuring that the people can go in for regularising their illegal and unregistered properties, places as per previous scheme of 2015. The government asked the people to pay fee for regularising from 20 percent to 100 percent based on areas of the lands.

The fees varies from 3000 sq yards to above 50000 sq yards and to pay market price as per registration time. The people have to get online services by Oct 15 and pay the fees by January 31, 2021. (Hydnow)
