Hyderabad, Aug.24 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said that TRS will be in power for another 20 years. The Chief Minister has said that the welfare and development programs will fetch them support by people in future polls. He criticized the opposition parties for their misinformation campaign on Dalit Bandhu and other schemes. KCR asked the ministers, MLAs, MPs and leaders to turn down the comments by the opposition on schemes.

Addressing a press conference later, the party working president and Minister KT Rama Rao disclosed the decisions and discussion in the state committee meeting addressed by the chief minister. He said that there was no discussion on Huzurabad bypoll and the TRS will think of a strategy after its notification. It is our strong bastion and we will win the fray, he said adding that with that poll the government will not collapse. General elections are due for two and half years and we will strengthen the party till then and implement schemes for people welfare. We won 88 Assembly seats out of 119 and 9 MP seats out of 17 in Telangana and enjoy strong support of people, he claimed.

He said that KCR will lay a foundation stone for construction of Telangana Bhavan, a party office in Delhi on September 2. In next month the TRS will take steps to strengthen the party in villages and districts through committees.

We have to strengthen the TRS party at grass root level and villages be developed with schemes using funds, he said. KCR asked the leadership to take Dalit Bandhu to uplift the SC communities lagging behind for decades.

Earlier, KCR addressed a party state committee meeting on strengthening the party at villages and districts at the Telangana Bhavan here. (Hydnow)
