Hyderabad, July 21 (Hydnow): TPCC President Revanth Reddy has called upon the congress party ranks to stand by the people in view of the heavy rains in the state for the past four days.

He said that Congress leaders and activists should take part in the relief measures for the floods that the people are facing at this time as the brooks, bends and rivers are overflowing.

Revanth Reddy said that due to these heavy rains, Hyderabad city as well as all the low-lying areas of the state have been flooded and people are facing a lot of difficulties due to flood water. He said that the houses were inundated with water and they were unable to meet their basic needs and were unable to provide milk and food to the children.

Therefore, Revanth Reddy called upon the Congress workers to respond immediately and take action to solve their problems. However, it has been raining non-stop for the last four days. As a result, all the low-lying areas were flooded.

In many places, people are facing various problems as the flood water has entered the houses. The government has already declared holidays for schools. However, the Meteorological Department has revealed that there are chances of rain for another four days. (Hydnow)
