Hyderabad, Aug 9 (Hydnow): Tomato price, which was sky high till yesterday, has come down to the ground. Tomato, which was priced at Rs. 200 for a few weeks, is now available in 2 kgs at Rs. 100 on the roads. The vendors carrying tomatoes in the trolley are shouting and selling.
It may be recalled, that INDTODAY yesterday reported that the tomato prices are decreasing in many areas of Hyderabad. A kilo of tomato was priced at Rs. 63 on Monday in Mahdipatnam Rythu Bazar in the city. On the other hand, in the Gudimalkapur market, a kg tomato is being sold for Rs. 50. Marketing sources say that tomato prices are likely to decrease by the end of this month. (Hydnow)
