Delhi/Hyderabad, Dec 12 (Hydnow): BJP has taken another sensational decision which surprised everyone, choosing the first-time MLA Bhajanlal Sharma as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
This decision was taken in the BJP legislative party meeting. The BJP leadership favored Bhajan Lal sharma from the Brahmin community who won as an MLA for the first time. He is currently serving as the State General Secretary of BJP.
In the recently held state assembly elections, Bhajanlal Sharma won from Sanganer constituency with a majority of 48,081 votes against Congress candidate Pushpendra Bhardwaj. In the Chief Minister race, along with Vasundhara Raje, nine top leaders have contested, but Bhajanlal Sharma, who is not in the contest, has been finalized by the leadership. It seems that Sharma got the post of CM because of trust and loyalty.
56-year-old Bhajanlal Sharma completed his post-graduation. He served four times as the state general secretary of the party. He declared assets in the election affidavit are Rs. 1.5 crores, of which Rs. 43.6 lakh movables, remaining are immovable properties.
Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa have been appointed as Deputy Chief Ministers of Rajasthan. Vasudeve Devnani has been appointed as the new Speaker of the Assembly. (Hydnow)
