Hyderabad, Aug 3 (Hydnow): Monsoon Session of the Telangana Assembly began today with condolences to Cantonment MLA G. Sai Anna who passed away recently.
The Assembly Speaker, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, led the tributes, saying that Sayyanna was a popular and respected leader who had served the people of his constituency with dedication. He said that Sayyanna’s death was a great loss to the state.
Other members of the Assembly also paid tribute to Sayyanna, recalling his contributions to the state. They said that he was a man of the people who always fought for their rights. After the tributes, the Assembly began its business for the day.
The session is expected to be a busy one, with the government likely to introduce a number of new bills. The session is also expected to be marked by heated debates on a variety of issues.
Sayyanna, who was 58 years old, passed away on July 26, 2023. He was a member of the TRS and had represented the Cantonment Assembly constituency since 2014. Sayyanna was a popular and respected leader. He was known for his work on behalf of the poor and marginalized. He was also a strong advocate for the development of the Cantonment region. Sayyanna’s death was a great loss to the state. He was a dedicated public servant who had made a significant contribution to the development of Telangana.
