Telangana Is The Fastest Developing State In India: Deputy CM Bhatti

Hyderabad, June 19 (Hydnow):  Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said that Telangana is the fastest-developing state in the country.  

Speaking at the 41st State Level Bankers Meeting held at a hotel in Hyderabad, he said that steps have been taken for the development of agro-based industries, software, and hardware parks.  Urban, Semi-Urban, and Rural areas will be divided into clusters and developed.  He said that there will be demand for grain and corn crop products, Bhatti Vikramarka explained that their first priority is peace and security in the state.

Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said that it has been decided to increase the area of oil palm cultivation.  He said that oil palm is cultivated in every district.  Bankers were asked to cooperate in the cultivation of oil palm in the state.  He said that banks should increase loans to agriculture and allied sectors. He said that for decades, the farmer is the king, but seeing the bank statistics, he is afraid. 

He questioned how they are giving thousands of crores of loans to multinational and infra companies.  He said that banks are taking a step back to give loans to farmers.  He said that there should be one rule for all, there should not be different rules for the rich and the poor.  Bankers are advised to act according to the rules.  (Hydnow)
