Hyderabad, June 8 (Hydnow): TRS MLC Kavitha today said that a house to house survey conducted in Telangana was ideal for the nation. The survey proved handy to check the temperatures and other symptoms at primary level and break the chain, she said.
The MLC said that surveys in villages gave positive results as the health staff found temperatures of people helped a lot to reduce the cases amid the corona pandemic. Along with the family members, the MLC visited a temple in Nandipet in her Nizamabad district and performed pujas at a local Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy temple. Speaking on the occasion Kavitha said that the government is committed to contain the virus chain through vaccination drives.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been making efforts to check the virus and the survey helped to reduce the cases further, she said. The lockdown imposed from May 12 is giving better results to reduce the cases and deaths. We are able to bring down the cases with people’s cooperation, she said. The cases will further come down by following corona protocols followed by vaccination to all. The government will provide vaccines to all and there is no need for panic. The officials of health are getting doses in adequate numbers and people should not worry about their turn.
The MLC visited Nandipet bridge bullt at a cost of Rs 110 cr at the village. As Nandipet connects with Maharashtra the locals should be more cautious on virus spread, she warned. (Hydnow)
