Hyderabad: TPCC chief Revanth Reddy wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting to declare the Telangana floods a national disaster.
He requested the Centre to sanction Rs 2,000 crores to the state on an immediate base. Revanth Reddy stated that crops in 11 lakh acres were damaged due to unexpected floods.
He slammed IT Minister KTR for reportedly citing that no crops were damaged during the floods. He alleged that the state government failed to access the damage caused due to the floods.
He further dared minister KTR to come along with him to visit flood-affected areas. Revanth requested to extend support to the farmers who lost their crops.
