Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday said Telangana State was faring far better than most others in slowing down the spread of coronavirus in the State.
While the doubling rate of positive cases at the national level was eight days, it was more than 10 days in Telangana State, he said. “Similarly, the death rate due to Covid-19 was 2.44 per cent in the State against the 3.22 per cent national average. We have also improved in terms of testing with about 375 persons being tested per million population against the national average of 254,” he said.
