Hyderabad, Sept.22 (Hydnow): In a significant development, Telangana government has taken necessary measures by introducing 17 new castes into Backward Classes category in the state.
The government issued GO number 3 in this regard according to information. BC welfare minister G Kamalakar today offered certificates to beneficiaries including Sai Charan Chavan of Aluru village near Chevella mandal in Vikarabad district.
He gave the certificate to the beneficiary with BC A certificate here. With this Chief Minister K Chandra sekhar Rao gets credit for offering due recognition to oppressed classes in the state.
The minister said that the move will help these 17 castes to get benefits as per norms. The government of Telangana offers all castes and religions equally. KCR government treats all are equal and the state government is secular, Kamalakar claimed. As many as 9839 families get benefits through this initiative of the state government. (Hydnow)
