Hyderabad, May 15 (Hydnow): CPI Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy and others said government for being negligent on Pothireddypadu water project proposed by Andhra Pradesh Government.

They submitted a memorandum to irrigation engineer in chief Muralidhar at Jala Sauda here. In the memorandum they complained about government negligence and sought to stop the works.

They urged the official to protect state interests of waters by needed steps. Later Kodandaram alleged that with knowledge of Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has released GO 203 to draw more waters from Srisailam project.

They accused the KCR Government of colluding with the Jagan Mohan Reddy government. They asked Krishna water board to refrain AP from looting our water share.

Venkat Reddy has flayed that KCR and Jagan are hand in glove on water issue. He demanded the KCR government to call for on all party meeting to discuss on the controversy. Let other political parties give their opinions on the water row he said.

Both governments should avoid feud on waters Reddy said .This is violation of reorganization act and KCR cannot remain calm. It is time to fight for our rights and asked the irrigation officials to stop the AP project which is against norms. Jagan is supposed to respect federal spirit they said. (Hydnow)
