Hyderabad, September 25: Commissioner Ronald Rose said that steps are being taken to bring the stepwell in Gudimalkapur into reuse as part of heritage conservation. On Monday, he inspected the in and out structures of the Jam Singh Temple in Karwan constituency, Nakkar Khana, Kalyana Mandapam, Step Well (stepwell), and Flower Market.
On this occasion, the Commissioner said… Under the guidance of a National Institute of Urban Management (NIUM) consultant, Rs. He said that the step well will be renovated with 46 lakhs. He said that the work is in progress.
He said that permission from the Devadaya Department was to be obtained for taking up conservation and heritage restoration works of Jam Singh Temple through NIUM.
Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner Venkatesh Dotre, SE Ratnakar, EE Lal Singh, Deputy Commissioner Anjaneulu, Deputy EE Jameel, AMOH Dr. Vijay Rammohan Rao, UBD DD Srinivas, NIUM Consultant Rajini and others participated.
