Hyderabad, Oct.19 (Hydnow): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today demanded the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to resign from his post for cheating the Dalits of Telangana.
In a statement, he said that the failure of KCR was responsible for the suspension of the implementation of Dalitha Bandhu program in Huzurabad Assembly constituency.
He alleged that KCR had given an opportunity to the Election Commission of India (ECI) to halt the scheme . He said that the EC would never halt the implementation of any existing welfare scheme.
CM does not have commitment to implement Dalitha Bandhu scheme
BJP MLA M. Raghunandan Rao while targeting the CM alleged that KCR did not have the commitment to implement the dalitha bandhu scheme.
He said that he was ready to hold a public debate with state minister KTR on the implementation of the scheme.
He mocked that the dalitha bandhu scheme would turn into another three acres lands to the daliths scheme in the state.
He claims that the people of Huzurabad were saying that KCR did not have any plans to give ₹10 lakh under the dalitha bandhu scheme.
Referring to a letter written by the secretary of forum for good governance M. Padmanabh Reddy to stop the implementation of the dalitha bandhu scheme , he said they Reddy had written the letter in the month of august to the EC.
He demanded minister KTR to reveal the reasons behind freezing of the funds instead of crediting them into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. He claimed that Minister K T Rama Rao was not campaigning for the party candidate in Huzurabad by-elections as he was confident losing the elections. (Hydnow)
