Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 6 (Hydnow): Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking the clarification on the agenda of the special Parliamentary Sessions.
In a letter she questioned how it had been decided without giving prior information to the opposition, she demanded that 9 issues should be discussed mainly in these meetings. Sonia Gandhi said that they will attend a special session.
Prime Minister Modi has called for a special Parliament Session without holding any talks with the opposition. The opposition was not told any details about the agenda of the special session of Parliament. This is the first time in the history of the country that this is happening without telling the opposition. Parliament should make a clear announcement of the agenda for a special session. Our mission as an opposition party is to raise public issues. In the letter, Sonia Gandhi requested that adequate time should be allocated in special sessions of Parliament for discussion on public issues.
A special session of Parliament will be held from September 18 to 22. The Center has already announced the schedule for this.
